On that site you could download self-driving tours of San Francisco, Beverly Hills and San Diego; an illustrated children's book called Daniel the Cable Car; and multiple travel industry related self-help booklets. By that time I had spent 35 fabulous and innovative years in the travel industry and I wanted to share my knowledge and experience with inquiring minds. For example a company I started in 1987 is today one of the most successful sightseeing companies in the world, Grey Line of San Francisco. Over the last 17 years thousands of people from around the world have downloaded files from that site. Among those thousands are a handful of people whom I have happily mentored as they embarked on a travel industry career. I finally closed that site down this year. It was rickety and out-dated. But the memory of so many people thanking me for the booklet How to Start Your Own Sightseeing Company got me to dig it out and again read what I had written so long ago.
